Before establishing a company, there are several factors worth considering when deciding whom to entrust with handling your company procedure from start to finish.

Problem: In many places, they make you pay years in advance or require a loyalty commitment. Apart from having to pay more upfront, what guarantees that you’ll actually be able to work well with them throughout the years you have paid for or committed to in advance? What if you want to change your service provider?

2. Your tax number won’t be suspended because a letter from the tax authority (NAV) was returned while you were on holiday.
Problem: Unfortunately, this is very common. If even a single official letter is not received for any reason, the tax authority (NAV) may immediately suspend the tax number. There are also cases where tax inspectors could not find the company signboard, resulting in the immediate suspension of the tax number.
A suspended tax number is very inconvenient, because if you do not regularly check the company extract, you may not even be aware of it. However, invoices issued while the tax number is suspended are not valid. This can make both your own life and your clients’ lives very inconvenient.
Solution: We always put up the company sign. We receive all mail and notify you immediately.
3. The tax authority and other authorities will not ring the doorbell at your home / your parents’ home / your sibling’s home.
Problem: A NAV inspector may sometimes show up at the registered office without prior notice. On the one hand, this can be inconvenient for the people living there, and on the other hand, it may also result in the suspension of the tax number if no one answers the door. I know it may sound exaggerated, but there are hundreds of thousands of companies with suspended tax numbers, and the most common reasons for suspension include returned mail or simply no one being present at the registered office.

4. Many company directors living outside Budapest choose our service because having a Budapest address makes them more competitive in the market.
Problem: Hungary is a Budapest-centred country. Companies based outside Budapest may find themselves at a competitive disadvantage even when offering services that are not location-dependent. Most of our clients from outside Budapest say they need a Budapest address because it helps them secure more orders.

5. In Pest County, in an area exempt from local business tax, you can save on the local business tax, or at least a significant portion of it.
Problem: In most municipalities, a 2% local business tax must be paid. Many companies pay this completely unnecessarily. Depending on the type of business activity, part of the local business tax, and sometimes even the entire amount, can be saved. In the case of a restaurant, there is not much to save, but, for example, an online service or a consulting company may be able to save the entire local business tax amount. In your specific case, we are happy to help calculate the potential savings. It is also important that if you have been handling your official matters in Budapest so far, this should remain unchanged. A municipality in Pest County is the perfect solution for this.
Solution: If your business activity allows, it is worth registering your company’s registered office in a municipality exempt from local business tax. In this case, our registered office service more than pays for itself: even with an annual revenue of just a few million HUF, the local business tax savings can exceed the cost of the registered office service. 6. If you have a larger vehicle fleet, you can save on part of the vehicle tax as well as the local business tax - in Nógrád County.
Problem: In addition to the local business tax, the vehicle tax can also be a significant expense, for example, for a transport company or a company with a larger vehicle fleet. Moreover, transport companies are required by law to have a compliant place of business in the given municipality.
Solution: There is a municipality in Hungary called Egyházasdengeleg, where there is no local business tax and part of the vehicle tax can also be refunded. In this municipality, in addition to a registered office, you can also rent a place of business from us for your trucks, fully compliant with all legal requirements.
7. When applying for grants, you have a higher chance of success and can access larger amounts of funding.
Problem: The company’s registered office can make a significant difference when applying for grants. For certain grants, for example, a Budapest-based company may not even be eligible to apply, or may only be able to apply for significantly less funding and under less favourable conditions.
Solution: Many companies use our registered office in Egyházasdengeleg, Nógrád County, for grant applications, giving them the best possible chance of applying successfully and securing the highest possible funding amount. An added benefit is that there is no local business tax, and part of the vehicle tax can also be saved. Újlengyel is located in Pest County and may also be an interesting option for grant applications, while it is likewise exempt from local business tax.
8. No property tax is levied on the apartment just because the company is registered there.
Problem: We had a client who was charged more than 1 million HUF in property tax on an average apartment in downtown Budapest — retroactively for 5 years — simply because they had a dormant company registered there, with no income whatsoever. Moreover, they had been living there for years when, out of nowhere, a letter arrived stating that they now had to pay the tax. They appealed and pleaded their case, but the local government was not persuaded, and they had to pay the property tax.
The tax must be paid even if the apartment is actually used as a permanent residence. According to the local government, having the company’s registered office at the property is sufficient under the law and local regulations for the apartment to lose its property tax exemption.

9. There is no municipal tax inspection.
Problem: Where there is tax, there are also inspections and penalties. We had a client who came to us saying that what bothered them more than having to pay was the fact that inspectors kept coming, carrying out inspections, issuing fines, and preventing them from working.
Solution: Where there is no tax, there are no tax inspections either. No tax inspections will be carried out in Újlengyel or Egyházasdengeleg.
